The insight: Aotearoa was a lacking a local, high quality, authentic image marketplace where NZ-based creators could their super beautiful, super Kiwi photographic work to marketers, designers, advertisers and small businesses. We're inundated with insane creative talent here, so why were we having to resort to glossy, international stock sites which poorly reflected our local market. 

The idea: Introducing Picky – the new mockshot and stockshot marketplace for fussy creators. NZ made, royalty-free and easy to use. 

Our aim is to create an image bank which truly reflects Aotearoa as it is now. Real NZ, real people, real craft, images that are real easy to use and ones creatives want to use. 



To begin with, we’ve launched our first “mockshot” collection. Layered, fully editable photoshop mockup images to help creatives visualise their already-great ideas & designs for client presentations, pitches, portfolios and award submissions. The first Picky Stock collection has just launched, tapping in to the archive images of photographers from all over the country.
