New Zealand Fire Service 2015
Burnt Home for Sale
The brief: A majority of New Zealanders have smoke alarms installed, however they no longer work. With the 'it won't happen to me' attitude common amongst many we needed to do something to get people to check theirs is still working.
The idea: To confront and shock Kiwis with the reality of house fires, we listed a seemingly normal home for sale in the NZ Property Press and online. Upon first inspection the home simply looked run down, however the effects of not having a working smoke alarm installed soon became apparent.
